Nelson Dilipkumar Career
Nelson after completing his Visual Communication course at New College joined as a scriptwriter on the Star Vijay Channel. Later he acquired an opportunity to direct the film Vettai Mannan starring Simbu and Hansika Motwani in the year 2010, but unfortunately, the movie was dropped due to production issues.
Later he worked in the various media field. His friend and the popular music director Anirudh Ravichander guided him to direct a movie. In the year 2018, he directed the film Kolamaavu Kokila starring Nayanthara in the lead role. This film was a tremendous success and he also won the Filmfare award for Best Scriptwriter.

Later he got an opportunity to direct his second film Doctor starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role. This film was also a Blockbuster success and acquired him a lot of attention.
This film was highly celebrated by both critics and Tamil audiences. During the shooting of this film, he announced his third film with Thalapathy Vijay under Sun Pictures production.
This film was named Beast and released in April month of 2022. This film acquired negative reviews and doesn’t go well among the audience, but the film was one of the highest-grossing films of the year.
