The veteran actor started his acting career way back in the 1970s. He was one of the first generation television serial artists who featured in numerous TV shows.
Starting his career in the 1980s, Tarakesh made his debut with Tumhare Saharey, Jurrat, Trikon tv series, and movies. He was part of the Mahabharat TV serial which was telecast in Doordarshan in 1988. He played the role of Pandu and appeared in multiple episodes.
Tarakesh Chauhan is featured on various television channels including Zee, Sony, Doordarshan, Colors, and many for their daily TV soap. Some of the known serials are The Zee Horror Show, Tehkikaat, Shri Krishna, Maharathi Karna, and more.
